At Holistic Collaborative, we walk alongside you through a root-cause approach to healing your chronic symptoms. This means we address the “why” behind your symptoms instead of addressing the symptoms directly with a band-aid approach, which only silences symptoms while overlooking the driving factor of dysfunction. That is, however, until it can no longer be silenced.
Root-cause healing has a very specific order of operations, which, for most clients, requires a deep level of detoxification. To do this correctly, we have to prep the body appropriately before this can happen. Once the client is ready, we will work on addressing present pathogens, metals, mold, etc.
The detox process has to begin with properly supported drainage or “exit” pathways. In order to properly address drainage, we have to start from the bottom of the drainage funnel and work our way up starting with the colon and moving upwards into the liver and bile ducts, lymphatic system, organs and tissues and ending with our cells (note: there are backflow drainage pathways, or less optimal drainage pathways, for when the system gets overburden, consisting of the kidneys, skin and lungs when backflow occurs and these pathways have to be depended on, we typically see a higher uptick in symptoms). Since these pathways are our “exit” pathways, they have to be open before detox can occur, as they’re the answer to eliminating whatever type of pathogen is presenting, overburdening the body and driving symptoms (1,2). If these exit pathways are closed while we attempt to detox, they are simply going to become stirred up, creating an uptick in symptoms followed by being recirculated back into the body. In addition, when these exit pathways are closed, we will start seeing symptoms creep in. This can look like acne, other skin conditions, allergies, asthma, UTIs, yeast infections, etc. This is exactly why, if you’ve tried addressing parasites, detoxing, etc., in the past and it hasn’t worked for you, it’s because the proper order of operations was not addressed, including opening up drainage pathways.
